New Year / Server
Well, its good and bad news. The good news is I have this spanking new server. The bad news is, I have this new server because the old one died.
Seems one of the harddrives (maxtor) in the old server ate it. Now all it does it make clicking noises when we turn it on. Remeber kids, this is why we should back our information up. As of now, I don’t know if we will, or even can salvage anything from the harddrive.
This new server is pretty swank though. Running 160gb in a Raid1 array, an extra 120gb harddrive, 2gb’s ram, 2.0Ghz Xeon (HT) cpu’s x2. Yep, its got 2 processors in there, and they are hyperthreaded, so it’s almost like have 4.
School also starts next week. Something else NOT to look forward to. oh well….
